"I am a modern localized spirit. Today, I live in the digital grid, feeding on the neighborhood's spills."
Our mysterious, GenZ digital ghost lives in the app. Ask Omni anything about the vibe, the history, or what's trending nearby, and get context-aware answers pulled straight from local spills.
SpillHere was born out of a desire to break free from the curated, algorithmic feeds of traditional social media. We believe that the most authentic conversations happen locally, among people sharing the same physical space. Our mission is to provide a secure, anonymous platform where communities can communicate freely, unfiltered, and in real-time. Whether you are on a university campus, at a massive festival, or just in your local neighborhood, SpillHere connects you to the true pulse of your surroundings.
We leverage highly optimized Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols to discover nearby peers without draining your battery. Ephemeral cryptographic tokens ensure your physical location cannot be tracked.
All of your chat data, media, and peer contacts are stored locally on your device in SQLCipher-encrypted SQLite databases, meaning nobody else can read your data.
Our real-time messaging pipeline is powered by Google Firebase. This enterprise-grade backend ensures zero-latency message delivery, robust push notifications, and automatic data purging.
Omni, our localized digital spirit, is powered by Google Gemini. It analyzes real-time hyper-local spills to provide context-aware, hyper-intelligent answers about your neighborhood.

Yes. We do not require a phone number, email address, or any identifying information to create an account. You are assigned a dynamic avatar and an anonymous UUID.
No. While we require location permissions to enable Bluetooth scanning on certain operating systems, we do not record, store, or monetize your GPS coordinates. All peer discovery is strictly local.
We use a decentralized, crowd-sourced moderation system. If a spill or a user receives enough negative reports from the local grid, their content is instantly and automatically vanished.
